Wonderful dinner a couple of nights ago & followed up with an equally good take a way tonight. The restaurant is a credit to the community of Latrobe. If you have visited town & not frequented the Imperial Thai you have missed a great venue.
Wow. The meal was delicious. The cocktails were awesome. Atmosphere sublime. Service was so polite and friendly. Can't wait to return. Even had a walk along the river afterwards and saw the sunset. Fabulous evening.
We dined here last night. As always food was good. Although the vegetable fritters seem to have changed since I was there last a year ago. They looked unappealing and didn't taste as good as I remembered. Husband had the Crying tiger and loved it however it was well done not medium rare as advertised . The blonde girl behind the counter making drinks seemed to be doing her job while helping the other staff, serving and taking phone calls , she did a great job . All staff need to smile more, they look unhappy. The girl who took our order didn't know the menu and we had to point out what we wanted, repeated four times that we wanted a small bowl of chips on the table because she didnt understand. We originally had a table in the side room and there was a family, another couple and a large table of women who were extremely loud. I'm all for people enjoying themselves but thought it was super rude to be so loud that we and the other couple asked to move into the room with the bar and were later followed by another 2 girls and they still continued to be loud. Alrhough the restaurant isnt to blame I thought after 6 of their customers moved that a staff member could've politely asked them to keep the noise down.
Atmosphere was lovely. Service was outstanding. Food was extremely good and tasty. Definitely recommend anyone to come here.
Cute little Thai restaurant, food was delicious and relatively decent value. Very accomodating for dietary requirements (veg, no onion/no garlic options), thank you especially to our wonderful waitress for her attention to detail for this! Definitely recommend visiting for some great tasting food in a beautiful location.
Absolutely stunning evening looking out over the river. Service was great. Food was generous & delicious! Great gluten free options too! Topped off with a stroll along the river. Perfection!
After a cold beer and delicious cocktail we enjoyed an entree for two. Although we chose different meals from an extensive mains menu we both chose different satay dishes that were so delicious, I’ll definitely try mine again sometime.
I took my family out for tea. It was wild weather outside we came inside it was so warm and inviting. Very friendly, polite and helpful staff. Meals didn't take long to arrive, was good timing. Our meals were fresh, well presented and very delicious, great size and very filling. Staff came and checked on our meals and to see if everything ok. Which is very nice to do. Nothing a problem. Prices were reasonable as well. Highly recommend and will definitely be going back.
